If you fly into Palm Beach, you may have noticed a new name on your ticket. In 2026, Palm Beach International Airport was renamed President Donald J. Trump International Airport, and on August 18, 2026 its airport code changed from PBI to DJT. Here is what that means for your trip and your Palm Beach airport car service.
What changed
- The name: the airport now carries the name President Donald J. Trump International Airport.
- The code: flights and bookings now use DJT (ICAO: KDJT) instead of PBI.
What stayed the same
It is the same airport, in the same place just west of downtown West Palm Beach. It still has one terminal with Concourses A, B and C, and every airline arrives at the same baggage claim area. Older tickets, apps and road signs may still say PBI while everything is updated.
Getting from DJT to Palm Beach and beyond
Typical drive times from the airport:
- Palm Beach island and Worth Avenue: about 10 to 15 minutes
- Jupiter: about 25 to 35 minutes
- Boca Raton: about 30 to 40 minutes
- Fort Lauderdale: about 50 to 60 minutes
- Miami and Sunny Isles Beach: about 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes
Meeting your chauffeur
With our Palm Beach airport car service, your chauffeur waits inside at baggage claim with a name sign. We track your flight and adjust automatically if it is early or late.
Private aviation at DJT
Private flights land at the Palm Beach FBOs, including Jet Aviation, Atlantic Aviation and Signature. We meet you at the FBO lobby, or planeside where the FBO allows. See private jet car service.
Palm Beach to Miami in one ride
Many travelers land at DJT but stay in Miami, Sunny Isles Beach or Aventura. We drive the whole way in one car, with no transfer in between. Trips to and from Palm Beach County are priced by distance and quoted before you book.
