Surfside’s small downtown along Harding Avenue has cafés, bakeries and kosher restaurants, all within a few blocks of the beach.

Bal Harbour Shops is about 5 minutes north. Miami Beach’s nightlife is 20 to 25 minutes south. Bay Harbor Islands is just across the bridge.
