Miami Beach is about seven miles long, and where you stay changes the whole feel of your trip. Here is a quick guide to the three main areas, with tips on getting around with a Miami Beach car service.
South Beach
South Beach runs from South Pointe to about 23rd Street. It is home to Ocean Drive’s Art Deco hotels, Lincoln Road, the nightlife scene and landmark hotels such as The Setai and 1 Hotel South Beach. Best for: nightlife, restaurants and walking everywhere.
Mid-Beach
Mid-Beach stretches from roughly 23rd Street to the 60s, along the curve of Collins Avenue. It is home to the Fontainebleau, Eden Roc and the Faena District. Best for: big resort pools, wellness and a slightly calmer pace.
North Beach and beyond
North Beach is quieter and more residential, leading up to Surfside, Bal Harbour and Sunny Isles Beach. Best for: families, long stays and beach time without the crowds.

Getting around Miami Beach
Parking in South Beach is expensive and hard to find, especially on weekends. Rideshare surges after midnight. A chauffeur on hourly service handles dinners, clubs and late nights, then gets you back safely.
